Triple Crown BBQ Sauce - Gluten Free Recipes
Helpful Hint #1: Always have on the table your server or cruet filled with extra sauce!
APPETIZER AVENUE
BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP
1-1 lb. Package bacon (cut in half) - Gluten-Free
1-2 dozen large shrimp (Devein and pull tail off shrimp)
Wooden toothpicks
Toss shrimp in ½ cup TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
Wrap the shrimp in bacon and pierce with toothpick.
Place on a cooling rack on top of a foiled lined cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes
Baste with more sauce on before serving.
COCKTAIL WEINERS
Thaw.
Place in small Crockpot.
Coat and heat through with TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE

GLUTEN FREE MEATBALLS
3 lbs hamburger
3 eggs
3 Tbsp minced dried onions
1/8 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp parsley
As usual, check labels of spices and cheese for ingredients not tolerated. Mix all together. Form small meatballs. Brown meatballs in oil till cooked
through. Freeze in desired amounts to pull out for future events.
To serve: Thaw, heat to warm. Add TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE and heat to serving temperature.
TRIPLE CROWN BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA
1 - 2 whole boneless chicken breasts
TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
Olive oil
1 prepared gluten-free pizza crust (Gillian's Foods Gluten-Free Pizza Dough works great)
8 oz fresh thinly sliced mozzarella cheese
1/2 whole red onion, sliced thin
Chopped cilantro to taste (or on only 1/2 of pizza if desired)
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Coat both sides of breasts with TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Place chicken breasts in oven proof dish. Bake 20- 25 minutes until chicken breasts are done. Remove from oven and dice chicken in small pieces. Set aside.
Lay pizza crust on a sheet pan that has been brushed with a small amount of olive oil. Brush a thin layer of olive oil on pizza crust. Spread a layer of
TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE on pizza crust. Top sauce with the thin slices
of mozzarella. Sprinkle on the diced chicken and thinly sliced onion. Bake 12 - 14 minutes (check after 12 minutes) or until crust is golden brown and cheese
is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle on cilantro. Best if cut in squares.
DINNER DRIVE
TRIPLE CROWN SLOPPY JOES
1 pound hamburger
1 small onion-chopped
1 small green pepper-chopped
Brown above ingredients together. Drain off grease. Add TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
to the sloppy joe consistency. Heat through. Serve on hamburger buns.
Helpful Hint #3: Keep homemade meatballs or cocktail wieners in the freezer, and you'll have fast, hot appetizers for any occasion.
TRIPLE CROWN BBQ PULLED PORK
4 pound boneless pork roast (trim fat)
2 large Vadalia onions (or sweet onions); finely chopped
1 jar of TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
In slow cooker crock pot combine pork, onion and TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours or more. When extremely tender, remove
from crock pot to plate and shred with knife and fork. Return to crock pot and mix the shredded meat well into the TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE -
add more sauce if needed.
Rockin' Ribs
Place ribs on grate in roasting pan. Put enough water in pan to cover bottom of pan.
Cover pan and bake 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. At 1/2 way point, baste ribs with
TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE and check water level. The last 15 minutes before done re-baste.
Serve with a side of warmed TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Rockin' Ribs part 2
Place 3 pounds of boneless pork ribs in large crock pot. Add 1 cup water. Cook on low for 8 hours then drain. Pour 1 jar of your favorite
TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE in pot and let warm for 30 minutes. Voila!
BBQ Chicken Salad
1 Head of washed Romaine lettuce torn into bite size pieces, 1 hardboiled egg, 1 pkg pre-cooked grilled chicken (found in meat department). Directions:
Wash Romaine lettuce and tear into bite size pieces. Toss in cut up egg. Heat chicken in TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE
in microwave bowl for 1 minute and place on top. Add a drizzle of your favorite dressing.
Helpful Hint #4: I went to my local store and gathered a small handful of various toppings from their salad bar and added to the salad.
Baked Chicken
Place 3-4 halved chicken breasts in shallow oven dish with ½" water and cover.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, take out chicken and coat both sides with TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Place back in oven for additional 20 minutes with lid or until internal temperature reach 165°.
Serve with side of warmed TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Pork Chops
Spread TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE over 2 pork chops and place in bottom of oven dish on small rack.
Add ½" of water mixed with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper and one large onion cut into chunks.
Bake at 450° for about an hour or internal temperature of 160°.
Serve with side of warmed TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Triple Crown Kabobs
On a pre-soaked (30 minute) in water wooden skewer or a metal skewer add your meats and fresh veggies, pineapple/cherry tomatoes.
Place on low/medium grill setting.
Continually lightly baste with TRIPLE CROWN GLUTEN FREE BBQ SAUCE.
Helpful Hint #5: To glam it up serve on a fresh bed of lettuce.
